This product is also known with various other names in the market such as gabions, rock cages, gabion wall, metal mesh basket, etc. The product is a 3.8 mm galvanized metal mesh which is heavy duty and will not rust or degrade in harsh Canadian climate. It can withstand snow, rain, and heavy freeze-thaw cycles.

Stone Grid is intended to be used for small-scale retaining walls, accent benches, or as low height barriers to distinguish between two areas in a backyard or a pool deck. For example, you may have a seating area with a fire pit and use a Stone Grid as a divider between this intimate area and the BBQ or grilling station. Stone Grid by STONEarch is a modern substitute to armour rock and armour stone. The product comes as a wire mesh grid that is unassembled and easy to carry to site by hand. It can then be easily installed with just a pair of pliers and filled using a wheelbarrow with loose gravel or river rock. The recommended fill is 3-5” in size.
